                                 ORDINANCE NO. 10722
                  
                  
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 7730 LEE
                   HIGHWAY, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN,
                   FROM C-1 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL ZONE TO M-1
                   MANUFACTURING ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
                A tract of land located at 7730 Lee Highway, being
                the south 300 feet of that part of the property
                described in deed book 895, page 244, ROHC, which
                lies west of Interstate 75.  Tax Map No. 139F-C-4
                (part).
               
         from C-1 Highway Commercial Zone to M-1 Manufacturing Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
              	   1.	No commercial billboards;
              	   2.	Minimum 40' natural landscaped buffer along the
         east property line (I-75);
              	   3.	Minimum 10' landscaped buffer and an evergreen
         planting screen along south property lines;
              	   4.	Landscaping along Lee Highway in accordance with
         the landscape ordinance (Ordinance No. 10692 adopted by the 
City
         of Chattanooga on April 21, 1998);
              	   5.	Approval of the City Engineer's Office for one
         entrance to property;
              	   6.	Proposed use only; and
              	   7.	All existing easements are retained.
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
